A modern take of a classic recipe, our fraisier starts with a sweet dough base. It then has a generous slab of almond cake in the middle followed by a layer of chunky strawberry compote.
Finally, the cake is finished with a white chocolate ganache montée, and is topped with fresh strawberries and other decorations.
This cake is around 8 inches in diameter and served on a 9-inch cake board. It should serve around 8-10 people.
